I had such a great time making this kit with Andrea from Little Green Frog Designs, she is such a fun person to work with! Plus making the kit brought back a lot of happy memories: having tea at my grandparents house every Sunday morning. Helping grandpa in the garden, him keeping the gnomes happy with his whistling so they would keep helping him get rid of the weeds at night while we were all asleep (I know now that this was not true...LOL).
My other grandma had these slippers with ponpons. I loved those ponpons and couldn't stop fidgeting with them … they always came loose in the end and then I felt soooooo guilty but she never got mad at me for it...she taught me how to crochet and knit!
